• English classes RULES

      Hello, everyone!

Welcome to the English Boost Academy!

      CLASS Scheduling and Attendance

Remember that lessons are held once per week and that you can find all the information for your group schedule on Discord.

Connecting to the online classes is MANDATORY. (They are not recorded).

You cannot miss more than 3 classes in a row. (3-strike rule = OUT).

We will appreciate if you inform about your absences to the teachers in advance.

      HOMEWORK

In this online space you will find your course with the materials and homework tasks for each lesson.

There are mandatory and optional tasks, that are only for practice.

Mandatory tasks are related to skills and are labeled with a code. For example:W for writing, R for Reading, S for Speaking and L for Listening.

Extra activities are usually for grammar or vocabulary practice under the code Q (for quiz).

Remember that you are only given a week to complete your homework. The 3-strike rule is also applied here.

Level A1 corresponds to basic users of the language, i.e. those able to communciate in everyday situations with commonly-used expressions and elementary vocabulary.

It is important to bear in mind that the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) is the system that defines and explains the different levels of oral and written expression and comprehension for languages such as English.
